As a result of this successful first initiative of EAS in collaboration with AMU held in Indonesia, several other initiatives are planned with participants who felt the initiatives could empower more practitioners in other parts of the country. Hence, EAS has planned to implement the following initiatives later in the year:
1. ICARS in Samarinda, Indonesia
2. ICPA in Samarinda, Indonesia
An outcome of this initiative was the discussion of a Professional Recovery Specialist Internship Program to be implemented for four months with an established rehab facility to provide on the job training to candidates who are interested to become Recovery Specialists. Emeritus will include two pertinent courses namely ICARS and Certified Life Skills Specialist program as part of the professional internship program.
EAS takes this opportunity to express its sincere appreciation and gratitude to YLIP for coordinating the ICARA event and looks forward to implement the next follow-up initiative in Samarinda in September 2018.
